The World Premiere at Telluride has left THE ACT OF KILLING with quotes such as:
‘Easily the boldest documentary at Telluride this year—maybe one of the boldest ever seen anywhere—is the Morris-produced “The Act of Killing”.’

This week The Act of Killing premieres at Toronto International Film Festival and programme director Thom Powers highlight it as a hot pick.
TIFF bills it as “a surreal, cinematic journey, not only into the memories and imaginations of mass murderers, but also into a frighteningly banal regime of corruption and impunity,”
The Act of Killing arrives at the festival with exec producers, and two of the most respected doc-makers working today – Werner Herzog and Errol Morris.
