Our team are proud to introduce the latest addition to the Kudos Family catalogue – My Beloved. My Beloved is a fantastic film about the realities of Alzheimer’s disease.
The film follows former Norwegian Minister of Fisheries Jan Henry T. Olsen, who was diagnosed Alzheimer’s at a young age and his wife Laila Lanes through the course of one year. We witness the couple’s fight for health and happiness as Olsen’s symptoms of the disease and dependency of help becomes clearer.
”Using an intimate and poetic form, this film conveys a rather difficult personal story in a good and unsentimental way so it touches us all,” says Maria Fuglevaag Warsinska-Varsi, documentary consultant at the Norwegian Film Institute.
We are very excited about working on this project and greatly look forward to the film’s release later this year.
